When I first started this blog I wanted it to be a way to stay in close contact with friends and family that I am not able to see often. I am beginning to think that the myspace, twitter, and facebook fads will soon fade, but blogs will always be around(hopefully). I ended up taking a new turn as far as my blog goes however. I love writing and I wanted to have an inspiring and motivational blog. I also know that writing from experience reaches the most hearts and minds in this world. So with that said, I wanted to write about living life to the fullest, finding out who you are and not losing yourself in day to day activities, whether it be work, school, friendships, and most of all relationships. I hope to write about my life, my experiences in this area and maybe make some kind of sense in the process. Everyone should know how to achieve balance in their life and when they feel themselves begin to sway, understand what it means to find that balance again. Having set goals for your life and making sure you always challenge yourself to do things you never thought you would do. And even if you do not accomplish each and every goal on your list, you tried, you are living life to the fullest, dreaming and achieving.

Yep!! dont laugh so hard. Its looking like.. well I couldnt tell you.

Last night a friend of mine Tam, from work and her daughter Cora decided we were going to tap into our artistic talent, or lack thereof. A tad bit scary, but it worked out well... About a month ago Tam mentioned a website called cocktails and canvas'. .. Its bring your own wine, beer or whatever drinks make you merry and snacks and you pay $25 and paint what painting is on the schedule for that night. Very neat. We then heard about sipsnstrokes and ended up liking the paintings available better so thats where we ended up. On a rainy drive on 2 85 on a Monday night, (work night) because the coolest painting for the month of July was a guitar. We were actually the first ones there and picked our spots, grabbed our apron, paint and set out our drinks and snacks. The tables already have your canvas set up with 3 brushes and a cup of water for your brushes. There were 62 people in this class. Kinda crazy but everyone was super fun. The girls next to us were drinking lots of wine and all of a sudden a loud laugh and then her friends following, we asked what happened and her friend said, "she just dipped her brush into her cheese.... LOL sooo funny! Can we say tipsy! It was a little frightening at first but the pictures ended up great. After the "whimsical strokes" This is the saying of the night ... the painting really popped!!! The black and white whimsical strokes make the painting for sure. I would recommend the place to anyone.. It would be a great girls night, bach parties, or birthdays. Def. want to do one for mine :) Hope you enjoy the pix, dont make fun of it too much.
